一般英文月份縮寫為前3字字母，有時也會用前2字母

星期的縮寫也是前三個字母

美式和英式的日期格式最大的差別在於順序的不同，英式寫法是先寫日期才寫月份，但美式寫法正好相反，是先寫月份才寫日期。

美式：Jan 13, 2023 （唸法 Jan Thirteenth, Twenty Twenty-three)

英式：13 Jan, 2023 （唸法 Thirteenth of Jan, Twenty Twenty-three)

英文中的日期，必須使用「序數」，唸法同理序數而不唸基數 (one, two, three)。

e.g. 3月3日寫法如下

數字分為基數 Cardinal numbers 和序數 Ordinal numbers

基數：表示事物的數量 e.g. one, two, three ... etc.

序數：指排順序的數字 e.g. first, second, third ... etc.
